Discrimination between the Suvaxyn® PRRS MLV vaccine strain (Suvaxyn® vaccine strain) and all other European strains (PRRSV EU other than Suvaxyn®) of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV) by real-time RT-PCR (qRT-PCR) with the exogenous internal positive control (IPC).
It is recommended to use this kit on the Suvaxyn PRRS MLV vaccinated population and if possible as a second-line after checking the animals with our PRRSV Bio-T Kit (BIOTK001/040) to ensure the presence of a European PRRSV/SDRP virus strain.
